Executive-In-Residence Program

A. Buchholtz & Company works with in-transition senior executives to source, evaluate and fund new and existing business ventures. We work with our Executives-in-Residence in numerous ways, including: identifying businesses available for acquisition; contacting, meeting and evaluating target companies; sourcing equity and/or debt financing; and assisting in the completion of transactions in which the executive is able to assume a key management position. Executive-in-Residence participants are generally seasoned professionals who have previously held C-level positions at major media or information companies. Participants are chosen based upon their track record of operating businesses and may or may not have prior private equity or venture capital experience.

Steve Aaron

Steve Aaron:

Steve Aaron is a hands-on, sales focused leader with broad experience in the entertainment, media, publishing and digital sectors. He is a strong decision-maker with significant executive, managerial, sales and marketing skills. Aaron specializes in creating successful "wheel" businesses to maximize overall revenue and contribution potential. He progressively manages media organizations to achieve or exceed targeted goals, and possesses a strong ability to identify efficiencies and execute cost reduction plans to produce immediate results.

Aaron is a former Chief Executive Officer who significantly improved digital business and turned an ebitda losing division into a profitably run operation within a 12 month period. He brings an expertise in vertical markets where he has managed and grown three special interest sectors through launches, acquisitions and brand extensions. At his core, Aaron is a sales leader and during his 12 years at HFM, he profitably ran the Premiere Magazine franchise, and during his tenure at Elle Decor Magazine, he led his sales team to increase ad pages by 190% and revenues by 370%.
